Our old cat, Sid, has passed away. Everyone in the house is sad and she will be missed.[Update] We decided that instead of burying her in the backyard, we would have Sid cremated. While actually going through the process was a rough on my wife and daughter, who also attended the cremation, the people there were great. It does bring a finality to the life of Sidney J, but she will remain with us. And as my daughter stated, the cat never really liked to be cold, so she won't have to spend Winter outside.
